Cotton quilt in white and turquoise with bear paw pattern and black accents.

Details

This is a picture of the second quilt I ever made. I was drawn to the “Bear Paw” quilt block from the very beginning.

The main material used in the quilt is cotton. The fabric remains soft but can withstand heavy use. White dominates, contrasted by a bold turquoise. Both colors form bear paws in geometric shapes. Black lines separate the individual fields and give the quilt a clear structure.
The repeating pattern runs through the entire work and conveys a sense of rhythm and order. The border of the quilt is also turquoise, which rounds off the overall picture.
